Iran largest permanent book store, Tehran Book Garden, is due to launch in the Iranian capital city of Tehran on Monday July 3.
Covering 65,000 square meters of indoor exhibition space, Book Garden complex will open at the Abasabad Hills in the north of Tehran.
The center is considered a huge permanent bookstore, which will remain open throughout the year.
“All sections of the project will be launched at the opening ceremony,” said Majid Hosseini, head of the Book Garden complex.
The huge bookstore will be one of the largest of its kind, providing ample space and amenities to help promote book reading.
People of all status and ages will enjoy the vast collection of books at the center. Special areas will cater to the needs of children and adolescents.
The open grounds around the buildings, covering 45,000 square meters, includes an artificial lake, a restaurant and coffee shop and playgrounds for kids.
The center has five halls, including a main accommodating 600 people for art and music performances. Meanhwile, academics can avail themselves of four research halls to hold classes for university students.
